System requirements and install steps:macOSWindowsLinuxiPhoneAndroid

Latest release

The first public release is on its way. The installers appear here as soon as they are published.

System requirements and install steps

Solaryes ships with its own Java runtime: there is nothing else to install. Every file is listed in SHA256SUMS next to the installers.

macOS

Requirements

  • A Mac with Apple silicon or an Intel processor
  • One DMG per architecture: pick yours in the download menu

Install

  1. Download the DMG for your Mac (Apple silicon or Intel).
  2. Open it and drag Solaryes to Applications.
  3. Open Solaryes from Applications. If macOS says it cannot verify the developer, Control-click the app and choose Open.

Check the download

shasum -a 256 Solaryes-*-macos-*.dmg

Windows

Requirements

  • Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit (x64)

Install

  1. Download the MSI installer.
  2. Run it and follow the steps. If SmartScreen appears, choose More info → Run anyway.
  3. Open Solaryes from the Start menu.

Check the download (PowerShell)

Get-FileHash .\Solaryes-*-windows-x64.msi -Algorithm SHA256

Linux

Requirements

  • A 64-bit (x64) distribution with a desktop session
  • DEB: Debian, Ubuntu and derivatives · RPM: Fedora, RHEL, openSUSE

Install

  1. Download the DEB or the RPM package.
  2. sudo apt install ./solaryes_*.deb
  3. sudo dnf install ./solaryes-*.rpm
  4. Open Solaryes from your applications menu.

Check the download

sha256sum -c SHA256SUMS --ignore-missing

Android

Requirements

  • Android 10 or later
  • A Solaryes account on a workspace

Install

  1. Install the companion from Google Play when it is available.
  2. Sign in: it shows health, alerts, tasks and agent runs, and approves or denies an agent’s action.

iPhone

Requirements

  • On its way

Install

  1. The iPhone companion is in development. It will come to the App Store with the same features as Android.

After installing

  1. Sign in with your workspace account, or create a workspace.
  2. Setup walks you through your first project, its checkout on this machine and the coding agents it finds. Every step can be skipped.
  3. Solaryes checks for a new signed release at start and every six hours, and offers it in a banner.
